We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel a scheduled service or request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling of our services.
By booking our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
Cancellation and Refund Policy for Styling Services
Standard Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy for all styling services is as follows:
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled appointment: You will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: You will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid, or you may reschedule your appointment (subject to availability) at no additional cost.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: No refund will be provided. However, under exceptional circumstances, we may offer a credit toward future services at our discretion.
Rescheduling Policy
If you need to reschedule your appointment:
- Rescheduling requests made 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment: You may reschedule once at no additional charge, subject to availability.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: A rescheduling fee of £25 will apply, and the new appointment is subject to availability.

Service-Specific Refund Policies
Personal Styling Sessions
For our personal styling services (starting at £180 per session):
- The standard cancellation policy applies as outlined above.
- If you are dissatisfied with your styling session, please notify us within 48 hours of the service completion, and we will work with you to address your concerns, which may include scheduling a follow-up session at no additional cost.
Wardrobe Audit Services
For our wardrobe audit services (starting at £250 per session):
- The standard cancellation policy applies as outlined above.
- Due to the extensive preparation involved, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking, which will be applied to your total service fee.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposit will be fully refundable or transferable to the rescheduled appointment.
Shopping Assistance
For our shopping assistance services (starting at £200 per session):
- The standard cancellation policy applies as outlined above.
- If a shopping trip needs to be cut short due to client request or unforeseen circumstances, the service fee will be prorated based on the actual time spent, with a minimum charge of 50% of the booked service fee.
Special Event Styling
For our special event styling services (starting at £150 per event):
- Due to the time-sensitive nature of event styling, cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment will not be refunded.
- A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
Service Quality Guarantee
We are committed to providing high-quality styling services. If you are not completely satisfied with the services provided, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion by emailing [email protected] with details of your concerns.
We will review each situation on a case-by-case basis and may offer one of the following remedies:
- A follow-up session to address specific concerns
- A partial refund
- Credit toward future services
Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction, and we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution.
Cancellation by SoftMeasure
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen events. If this occurs:
- We will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule your appointment.
- If rescheduling is not possible or desired, we will provide a full refund of any payments made.
- In cases where we need to cancel while a service is in progress (e.g., stylist illness), we will charge only for the portion of the service completed and offer to reschedule the remainder at no additional cost.
Refund Processing
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
- Full refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days, though it may take additional time to reflect in your account depending on your payment provider.
- Partial refunds will be calculated based on the specific circumstances and communicated to you before processing.
Gift Certificates and Prepaid Packages
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates for our styling services:
- Are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another recipient.
- Are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for services of lower value.
- If services of higher value are selected, the certificate holder will need to pay the difference.
Prepaid Service Packages
For clients who purchase multi-session packages at discounted rates:
- Packages are non-refundable once the first service has been rendered.
- If no services have been rendered, a refund may be issued minus a £50 administrative fee.
- Unused sessions in a package expire 12 months after purchase.
Special Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances can occur. In cases of serious illness, family emergency, or other major unforeseen events, we may waive our standard cancellation fees at our discretion. Supporting documentation may be requested.
